Work in progress, my theme is "If you lived here"
I've made a start but on watercolour paper. My next page will be in pencil on the thin paper, and probably stick some things in from time to time.
I'm finding the size hard to adjust to but I least I've begun. I've decided to leave the cover until later.
This is beautiful, Debra. I'm also doing the Sketchbook Project the title is "This is not a Sketchbook". Not posted any of the pages yet but will get around to it soon. Looking forward to seeing more of yours.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great start...and a great breakfast!
ReplyDeleteI'm leaving the cover until later too.

I just love seeing yur work, and this is no exception! It's a wonderful start! nancy
ReplyDeleteSame here regarding the cover. (I guess it will be easier to decide on what to do with it afterwards when I know what's inside anyway!)
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed with your "sketches"! This one is amazing, as usual! I'm so looking forward to seeing your sketchbook filling up!
(Btw: I just googled "dim sum" and drooled over the pictures... I do *wish* I lived there!)
Great start Debra. I'd definitely eat dim sum for breakfast if I was there and it looked like your drawing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog.
LOVE it! my sketchbook has just been mailed to me, so i'm still thinking on what to do on mine!
ReplyDeleteFinally!!! The long awaited Dim Sum T___T I really miss them. Thank you thank you thank you for drawing this, it makes me totally happy, and I think that's what I am going to have tomorrow morning(not that there's a chinatown here in Louisiana, I'm stuck with frozen steamed buns...hahahaha)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and mouthwatering work =)
Welcome to the Sketchbook Project! Your paintings are just gorgeous, let me know how you go with the paper.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful start to your drawing...makes me hungry for dim sum!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and inspiring as always! I do wish I had the opportunity to live in HOng Kong at some point in my life. Believe it or not, I've never had Dim sum...
ReplyDeleteI thought immediately- beautiful. And then I see many of the comments include that very word. Interesting.
