  1. Fantastic pages Debra, I especially like the simplicity of the bamboo. Have you tried the dried snake and lizard, do you soak it before eating/cooking?

  3. Thanks Cathy and Raena. We have lots of regular stuff/loads of global brands here Raena (too many), I just don't find them as fun to draw.
    Cathy I think you soak/boil them but don't eat meat myself. In winter snake soup is eaten but usually they have live ones, meant to be good for the blood and warming I think. The dried food doesn't have the same appeal as sun-dried tomatoes or porcini mushrooms, particularly when you see it drying on the side of the road.Although saying that I've got a drawing of this on the way....
