I have the pleasure of having a one night fundraising exhibition at the Helena May next week.
A couple of weeks ago I got to sketch food and painted it later, here is one of the dishes...
...I love my life!

Dim Sum No 1
Har Gao, prawn dumplings.
After sketching these for the Arthouse Sketchbook a few years ago, I always wanted to do some watercolour versions.
Finished this before last week's exhibition (with four other artists) and it sold before I got to post it.
A very nice feeling
I'm thinking of including this (or a range of dim sum) in the limited edition prints.....
what would you like to see as prints?

Chinese buns
Colourful buns from the vegetarian dim sum shop in Aberdeen, filled with lotus seed or red bean paste.
The savory dim sum didn't last long enough to draw.
