I have the pleasure of having a one night fundraising exhibition at the Helena May next week.
A couple of weeks ago I got to sketch food and painted it later, here is one of the dishes...
...I love my life!

Large seedpod
I started this a while ago, and finished today during a break from my project.
The seeds fly well, particularly in line with a fan
I'm not sure what kind of seedpod it is kapok?.......
Update. I have just found out it is the toxic Strophanthus divaricatus 羊角拗,
watercolour paper 56cm x 38cm

Draw some paper money. You don't realise how lovely and detailed these banknotes are until you start. No time to finish today but will post finished version plus different stages soon

Everyday in May 29
Draw something in your favourite colour.........red is one of them,
but do understand why when I ask some kids this question they say "rainbow"
Colour to me means different things, for different purposes

Everyday in May 27
Draw something dangerous, a quick centipede.
We have a few venomous snakes over here but accidents happen when people scare them or don't see them.......these (not so ) little critters seem to enjoy biting

Everyday in May 26
Draw a bench....Lamma Ferry pier
Not an inspiring bench in itself but a lovely view.
I messed this one up by using the ink pen...should have been patient and waited to mess it up after scanning

Everyday in May 24/25
Draw a cat, I'm doubling up on two days of challenges.
When I was small I always wanted a cat but my Dad was strictly a dog man. Here is Pearl, who moves around rather a lot for a cat that sleeps all day.My other cat was featured in last years EDiM.
Now to paint or not to paint? I want to do a painted version to show her colour and markings
