Sushi Set

Watercolour and Chinese ink on 140lb Aquarelle paper 24cm x 32cm

I was taken for a delicious sushi lunch at Ten Jaku, Causeway Bay last week.
The selection was a work of art.
I brought home the amaebi (prawn sushi) to draw but added the rest from a photo taken on my iPhone.

  1. These look great although I've never eaten sushi!

  4. Very nice! I like the contrast of colors with the bright little tails here and there. It has a cute, playful feeling to it. I think using amaebi's for still-lifes is a much better idea than eating them!

  5. Loving your sushi series so far (I'm such a big fan of sushi and I think I could eat them everyday, but of course, no words can explain my love for Chinese cuisines). Thanks for your comment Debra
