The Paul Collins' burger
Here's the next extreme burger from Lamma Grill
Burgers of Shame Number 2
The Paul Collins' burger
Double beef burger topped with double cheese, double bacon, 2 x jalapeño poppers and a layer of pulled pork!
I've spent the last week or so preparing Christmas art projects and advent calenders so it's nice to unwind with a burger. Thinking of getting myself an extreme veggie burger at the end of this project. As these are done from photos it would be great to do one from life and could last me all day.

Autumn Leaves
We don't really get autumn/fall colours here and I miss them, but I found this big red leaf on the beach.....collected a few more along with a snail.
watercolour Canson Aquarelle watercolour paper (140lbs) 24 x 32cm
To be honest I got a little un-inspired, maybe go back to it another time.
Had fun at the beginning sketching the fastest snail in the world (with an old biro), then he kindly went to sleep

Red Ginger
I bought myself a bunch of flowers, picked by a local lady........I must say, I love flowers but don't have the same patience (or maybe fascination?) with them as I do with other subjects.
A big belated thanks to the talented Johanna Bailey for featuring me on her new blog.

Bird's Nest
Work in progress. I'm going to draw this from a different angle.
Not sure what bird made this nest but it does have plastic on the outer layer. I think I actually prefer the first stage of the drawing below, I found the inside layer more fun to draw.........

Another cauliflower
I enjoy painting cauliflowers but I was distracted as I'm eager to get started on a bird's nest I've just been given.(Now the tiny ants have vacated) Most women get flowers, diamonds or chocolates........
This is a different cauliflower, now to make a cheese sauce.

Tin Shack, Lamma Island
will update the description
tomorrow. Happy Sunday...........
When I first moved to Lamma I think this bit of land was still being farmed(vegetable growing). (The area close to it still is) Now, after many years of being neglected the building rubble is getting higher in preparation for a new village or paths to be formed. I just wanted to capture it, more to follow on larger paper. For all you ex-Lammarites it's the little bit on the right before the tofu stand.
More studies to follow.
