As I said on your fluffy feather painting shown in Flickr; I love your use of wood for your painting. It lends it a magical quality and has a trompe l'oeil effect. Your use of subtle shadow also stops this from looking like a painting at all. Brilliant.
I can't believe I fell so far behind in seeing what you've been doing. All your May pieces are just wonderful I love the lychees especially. The feather is beautiful and so delicate, and this butterfly is amazing! I'll try to keep up - I love seeing your work. nancy
