I want to say "PAINT!" Because everytime you do it, amazing things happen. But I still love the B&W you do... and I can't decide either if I were you. I'd say half-half ^^
Thats great detail work, and I like it how you focused on a small part of the net. I also like the Mangosteens and the seed pods, do you know what kind of tree the seed pods come from? We have something here thats much alike those seed pods, interesting.
To . , You can see a mangosteen tree here: http://news.webshots.com/photo/2309215230026852722dAPSdb To my untrained eye the leaves looks similar to mango. The seed pods were just picked up while I was out walking - I didn't think to look up and try and identify which tree they came from.
This is amazing Debra!
ReplyDeleteNot paint is my vote.

ReplyDeleteGreat work on the detail. The shading is terrific.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed by the detail in your work. You've made a mundane subject look quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis sketch is gorgeous the way it is, but I love the colors you use too. I am no help at all!
ReplyDeleteYes paint!!
ReplyDeletePerfectly drawn but would look fantastic with some colour.
Wow, this is fantastic! I vote color. Just a little.
ReplyDeleteFabulous as always. You are very inspiring the way you can take things most wouldn't notice to draw and make them into works of art.
